`Body Snatchers (9) Fear Runs Deeply

There is a vicious malware in my new Lenovo that has, to date, evaded Geek Squad staff.  One of its symptoms is redirecting search and redirecting links.  In a way, that is what fear of disease does.  It deflects our attention to something that is much more visceral and id-like, than it is logical and ego-oriented.  If we are to argue that fear itself is a human disease, then it certainly runs deep below ground, maybe like the malware in my Lenovo.  Where is that fear housed?  In the old brain, maybe.  At the molecular level, maybe.
